Our responsibility to improve the quality of life in these communities grows as we continue to grow as a company.
Our community service mission
To support the communities where we do business through corporate giving, employee volunteerism, and workplace giving.
Corporate giving
Our corporate giving primarily supports organizations and programs that leverage technology to improve the communities where we do business and that are aligned with the following focus areas:
- Access. Bridging the gap between technology and individuals who need it the most.
- Education. Enhanced learning and teaching of information technology for school-age children (K–12).
- Innovation. Inspiring and supporting the people who create the future of technology.
Employee volunteerism
Savvis recognizes that our employees play important roles in enhancing the quality of life in our communities. We support their efforts through two employee volunteerism programs.
Each year, employees at Savvis locations coordinate local community service and employee events that support a range of organizations.
The Savvis Community Service Day provides one paid day per calendar year to each employee for volunteer activities planned in conjunction with our Savvis Community Service Day guidelines.
Workplace giving
Our employees provide support to the United Way and its member agencies by giving generously through our United Way campaign in St. Louis, as well as by volunteering in other locations.
